A GHARIAL CROCODILE SANCTUARY: The Gharial sanctuary at Tikarapada is a must for wildlife fans. Located at about 211-km from Bhubaneswar and 58-km from Angul, it offers forest bungalow accommodation at strategic places. If one wants to camp inside the sanctuary then he has to take special permission to do so.

Road: Connected with a good motorable road, the place is 120-km from Dhenkanal and 58-km from Angul on the road which branches off the Cuttack-Sambalpur road at Badakera situated 14-km west of Angul.
