Day 1 – Your Country / Delhi
Late night arrival. Welcome to India, or as we say ‘atithi devo bhava’ (the guest is an incarnation of God). Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you! Meeting and assistance upon arrival as our representatives welcome you and escort you to your car.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2 – Delhi
After the breakfast taken under the veranda of the boat. Leave for Kovalam. You will be nested in the middle of a large plantation of coconuts, broadside of a splendid sand beach. Afternoon free in this superb environment.
Day 3 – Delhi / Leh
After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Leh. This one-hour flight from the Indian capital to Ladakh's capital will be something that you might remember for the rest of your life. Assistance on arrival and transferred to your hotel. There will be no activity on your first day of arrival as it is recommend for tourists to relax and undergo minimal exertion to enable them to get acclimatized to rarefied oxygen level in this high-altitude region ensconced in the high Himalayan plateau. Later Leave to visit the Sankar monastery and then continue our drive to visit the Shanti stupa to witness the Japanese peace pagoda. We then return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Leh
Day 4 – Leh
Today after breakfast, Stok village is also situated at the foot of Stok ranges; we will visit the Stok Palace, former residence of the Royal family of Ladakh. The Palace consists of formidable collection of the family's heirlooms and relics are displayed, a poignant evocation of Ladakh's vanished past as an independent kingdom.
We then return to Leh for Lunch. Afternoon at leisure or an optional walk towards the Leh market. Overnight at the hotel
Day 5 – Leh
Today after early tea/coffee, we are driven to Thiksey monastery located situated on a hill-lock, which also houses a stucco statue of Maitreya Buddha, upon arrival we witness the monks gathered in the assembly hall for the morning prayer ceremony, which begins before sunrise at 0600hrs, we hear the monks chant their prayers with the beats, after that we will have our packed breakfast, followed with a drive to visit Hemis monastery another 30 kilometers southwest of Thiksey; Hemis is the largest and the wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. Hemis festival is considered amongst the biggest and most famous of the monastic festivals, and is dedicated to Padmasambhava. Every 12 years, the gompa's means a (monastery) greatest treasures, a huge Thangka, is ritually exhibited. Then continue to drive back to Leh.
Rest of the day at leisure or an optional walk towards the surrounding. Overnight at the hotel in Leh
Day 6 – Leh
After breakfast, we will drive towards the north, bifurcating the main highway to visit Chemdrey and Taktok monastery spectacularly on a hilltop.
The Takthok (the monastery with rock ceiling); 50km. east of Leh, this is the only monastery belonging to the Nyingmapa school of order. The monastery came into existence when Guru Padma Sambhava visited this place and blessed it in the 8th century. The Gonpa was merely a meditation cave of Padma Sambhava, with footprints and many other signs, until the reign of King Tsewang Namgail. When Mahasiddha Kunga Phunstog introduced monastic community. It was given the name of Takthok Padmalinggon
Chemrey Gompa is about 45 Kms from Leh, situated in the picturesque valley leading to Changla, the Gompa was constructed as a funeral act of merit on Singge Namgyal's death in 1645. A large collection of scriptures with title pages in sterling silver and the text in gold letters is kept here. Close by a cave monastery reputed to have been the abode of Padma Sambhava during one of his periods of meditation Overnight at the hotel in Leh
Day 7 – Leh / Likir / Ridzong / Uley Tokpo
After breakfast, We will drive to Likir monastery it is Founded in the 11th century and rededicated to a different monastic order in the 15th century, its earlier Gompa was destroyed in a fire. The present Gompa dated back to the 18th century. Skilled craftsmen producing excellent Thankas, earthen pots and carved wooden folding stools, live here in the village. Majestically situated, Likir commands a spectacular view. A magnificent giant Jupiter tree, one of the few survivors of its species, stands in the courtyard.
Rizong Gompa - There is no road to Rizong Gompa hence one has to walk to the monastery which is deep into the mountains. Rizong Gompa is known as the paradise for Meditation. Guru Padma Sambhava is believed to editated here for years. One can still find the small caves where Lamas used to meditate for years cutting themselves from the rest of the world except for an one feet square outlet window from where they accept the one time meal of the day
We then drive to Uleytokpo Camp for Lunch, afternoon at leisure, late in the afternoon we are driven to visit Ridzong Nunnery; the only nunnery in Ladakh also known as Chomoling, after that we then drive uphill to visit Ridzong monastery beautifully situated in a gorge. We then return to our camp. Overnight at the Uleytokpo camp
Day 8 – Uley Tokpo/ Lamayuru / Uley Tokpo
After breakfast, we will drive on Srinagar-Leh highway and then continue to drive to Lamayuru. Upon arrival, we will visit the Lamayuru Monastery followed by a brief visit to Lamayuru village situated on a foot of the Monastery
Lamayuru Monastery, founded in 11th century perched on a spur high above the valley bottom just off the main road, it is one of the most spectacularly picturesque monastery in central Ladakh and is believed to be the oldest in central Ladakh and to have been the holy place of the Bon-chos the advent of Buddhism. We then return to Leh taking the same Srinagar-Leh highway to our Uleytokpo camp. Overnight at Uley Tokpo in Tents
Day 9 – Uley Tokpo / Bema / Uley Tokpo
After breakfast, we depart for the village Dha – Bema. This village is famous for its people and are called the Drokpas (The pasture people), settled in the lower Indus valley are the descendants of "Aryans". They are Buddhist but also worship the nature Cods and Spirits as well as Dah & Tseringma protectors. Their tutelary Gods perhaps the most unique feature is their revulsion for Cows, Onions and Water, they believe bathing will drive their Gods away. Dha is 162 Kms, and Bema is 158 Kms from Leh. This villages been opened in recent years for the tourist and has been the study field for Anthropologist, Photographers and Historians of the world. Overnight at Uley Tokpo in Tents
Day 10 – Uley Tokpo / Alchi / Basgo / Leh
After breakfast, we depart for Alchi, en route visit Basgo monastery, situated on hilltop along the Srinagar highway. Basgo monastery is among the endangered sites of World monument fund, built of mud brick and rammed earth, during the 16th and 17th century A.D. The fortress has three temples, erected in celebration of Great Maitreya (The fifth Buddha). The largest of all statues is the 14-meter high gilded earthen statue of the Maitreya Buddha, surrounded by murals depicting scenes from his life and portraits of the patrons who underwrote the construction of the temple complex. Then Leave to visit Alchi Gompa dating a thousand years back. One of its walls features thousands of miniature sized pictures of the Buddha. Three large sized images made of clay and painted brightly are its focal attractions. No longer an active religious center, it is looked after by monks from the Liker monastery. Day 11 – Leh or Leh / Delhi

Day 14 – Delhi / Paris
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Airport to catch a flight to bombay and then on arrival Transfer to the international airport for your onward flight back home with the sweet memories of India.
